IFA President Pays Tribute to Grain Committee Vice-chairman George Mason
IFA President Joe Healy has expressed his shock at the untimely death of the Vice-Chairman of the IFA National Grain Chairman George Mason over the weekend.
Joe Healy said George Mason was always committed to the work of IFA on behalf of farmers and was passionate about tillage farming. “George was very proud of his farm in Ardfinnan, Co Tipperary. He was a top-class tillage farmer who worked tirelessly in representing his fellow farmers. He was very popular with farmers who respected his views and insights”, he said.
George Mason served as Chairman of South Tipperary IFA from 2010 to 2014. “To his family, we extend our condolences”, he said.
