Department Confirm Accessibility Issues with BISS Applications Addressed

Department of Agriculture officials confirmed at the Charter of Rights meeting this week that accessibility issues surrounding BISS applications have now being resolved.

IFA National Rural Development Committee Chair Michael Biggins told Department officials that he has been getting many calls from frustrated members on the issue from all across the country, and that any delay in accessibility just wasn’t acceptable, particularly given we are only weeks from the May 29th deadline.

“I’ve taken calls from members who have travelled good distances to meet with their planners only to find out when they landed that they couldn’t access the BISS application. It was a complete waste of time for both the farmer and planners, and both are up to their eyes at this time of year,” Michael Biggins said.
