Strong Demand for Lambs This Week
IFA National Sheep Committee Chairman John Lynskey has reported a strong trade for lambs at the factories, with prices of €4.80/kg to tops of €4.85/kg being paid.
Weights have also moved up with payments up to 23kgs.
Some factories are anxious for ewes with prices ranging from €2.55/kg up to top prices of €2.70/kg paid, depending on quality.
