IFA AGM Dates Confirmed as First Batch of Voting Packs are Posted to Members

IFA has today confirmed the dates of its 940 branch AGM’s where members can cast their vote for the next President and Deputy President of IFA.

The first 80 AGMs will take place next Monday night November 6th.

This year members will have the option of returning their vote in its return envelope at their branch meeting or returning their vote by post.

Voting packs contain ballots papers for President and Deputy President and a return envelope. These began issuing last week when the first 22,000 members were posted their voting packs.

The voting packs will issue in four batches depending on the date of the Branch AGM.

The table below shows the posting batches for AGM’s depending on the date of your branches AGM.

If members whose AGM’s take place between November 6th and November 13th have not received their ballot pack, they should contact their local IFA office.

IFA Returning Officer Brian Rushe said that the key message for members was to attend your local AGM and bring your ballot papers in the return envelope provided. “While the postal option is there it is important for members to attend their local AGM and have their say on issues of concern to them,” he said.
