Milk price 

Negotiations on liquid price are being finalised and remain similar to prices offered last year. 

Remaining milk processors have set contracts for multiple years. 

Activities

Chairman met with Tesco

• Tesco see an opportunity to build upon the NDC logo
• Non dairy milk account for 4% of “dairy sales”
• About 1/3 of customers are loyal to branded milk. 
• Currently sourcing ice-cream made in Ireland. 

Upcoming Issues

Committee has to feed into the National Milk Agency strategy document and will be meeting the National Milk Agency next week.
