South Tipperary IFA are hosting two top speakers on Genetics and Breeding on Thursday 6th of February in Cahir House Hotel at 8:30 p.m. Rose Goulding of the National Cattle Breeding Centre will speak about “How synchronization can revolutionize the breeding season on a beef enterprise” and all things breeding related.
Donagh Berry is a statistical Geneticist in Teagasc and has been influential in developing the EBI in Ireland. Donagh will speak on “Breeding for an improved Environmental Hoof print”
South Tipperary IFA Chair, Erica O’Keefe said that “All farmers should make every effort to come out to hear these two fantastic speakers. With breeding season around the corner, its important farmers are conscious of the options available to them”.
