Statement from IFA

Some media outlets may have received a statement last night purporting to be from the Irish Farmers Association.

This statement was not issued by us. It is utterly false. Please disregard its contents.

All IFA statements are issued from official IFA email accounts in the format attached and will also appear on our website www.ifa.ie; the official IFA app www.ifa.ie/app; our X account @ifamedia; and other approved social media and messaging channels. 

We would ask that media outlets verify the authenticity of any communication that appears to come from the IFA by checking these official channels.
